EAST CLEVELAND – A salt truck drove up and down Euclid Avenue in East Cleveland but the test run Tuesday was short-lived.
A truck driver declined to go on camera but confirmed the salt truck was not working.
It is one of two salt trucks in the city that are down due to electrical reasons.
And with another dose of winter weather expected Wednesday, people in East Cleveland say it’s a problem.
“It’s terrible. There will be a lot of people stuck in their driveways,” said Harold Martin, resident.
The city says one truck is currently being repaired in-house.
The second salt truck is in the shop and expected to be repaired over the weekend.
