Randall started 12 games for Green Bay in 2017, recording 47 tackles with 9 pass breakups. He also intercepted four passes, taking one back for a touchdown.
The Cleveland Browns’ busy Friday of trade acquisitions continued with the report first filed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the team has dealt for Green Bay Packers CB Damarious Randall.
The 25-year-old Randall fills a key spot in the Browns secondary at cornerback. He started 12 games for Green Bay in 2017, recording 47 tackles with 9 pass breakups. He also intercepted four passes, taking one back for a touchdown.
Injuries have kept Randall from playing an entire season in his three-year career. He started 9 games as a rookie in 2015, recording 58 tackles with 14 breakups to go with 3 interceptions and a touchdown. Randall again started just 9 games for Green Bay in 2016, but still managed to record 39 tackles with four breakups and 3 interceptions.
