Police in East Cleveland are investigating multiple shootings that occurred early Monday morning. Authorities are offering a $5000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest of the suspected shooter.
Acting East Cleveland Police Chief Kenneth Lundy claims to have heard around 30 rounds of gunfire near the Mobil Gas Station, located at 15317 Euclid Avenue.
At the time of the shootings, East Cleveland streets were jam-packed with hundreds of people attending the annual Shaw High School reunion. Officer Lundy stated that the area was so crowded that EMS couldn’t reach the victims.

“It had me shaking, it was so close to our vehicles,” the chief said. “I jumped out of my truck and a female ran up to me and said she was shot. The streets were packed so I knew it would take too long to get EMS there so I had her get in the back of my truck and we took her straight to the hospital.”
At least three people were taken to local hospitals for gunshot wounds. Lundy claims every officer on the force worked the entire weekend.
While no deaths have been reported, the conditions of all victims are unknown at this time.
The investigation remains open. No suspects have been apprehended.
