ROBIN THICKE SINGS A WHITNEY HOUSTON CLASSIC

(blackmediaSCOOP) Singer Robin Thicke has released his rendition of Whitney Houston’s 1995 hit single ‘Exhale (Shoop Shoop),’ which was featured on the soundtrack for the film ‘Waiting to Exhale,’ starring Houston.

“I was thinking about Whitney and how incredible she was and remembered I had recorded this song years ago but never released it,” Thicke said. “When I listened to it again, I was overcome by emotion, because the lyrics express everything I’m feeling right now.” 

The song, which Thicke debuted shortly after his arrest in New York City for possession of marijuana on Feb. 17, finds the crooner cooing –with the assist of a piano — in the spirit of Houston, who died Feb. 11.
