AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Police in Akron are looking for two men who broke into a jewelry store over the weekend. It happened at Taylor Made Jewelry on Wedgewood Drive around 11:40PM on Sunday. The suspects crashed their Jeep through the front doors to gain entry. Once inside, they grabbed a bunch of jewelry and fled.

NORTH OLMSTED, OH (WOIO) - A man claiming to be a judge's son busted for shoplifting. 32-year-old Joseph Russo was arrested on February 7th at Marc's. Police say Russo was with a small child when he cut open a $99 DVD package, put it with his personal belongings and went to the check out line. After purchasing other items, Russo tried to leave, but a manager confronted him about the hidden DVD package.

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The man accused of attacking and terrorizing women in their own driveways has surrendered to police. 20-year-old Anthony Lilliard turned himself into police Friday. Fourth District investigators say all of the attacks happened off Lee Road near the Cleveland/Shaker border. They believe Lilliard is to blame for all of the crimes.

PARMA, Ohio - Parma police are looking for a man they said robbed medication from a drug store Thursday morning. The incident happened at approximately 10:55 a.m. at the Walgreens on Rockside Road.

AKRON, Ohio - Following more than a year of legal maneuvering and delays, the public corruption trial of former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora and co-defendant Michael Gabor got under way Thursday morning, with prosecutors claiming Dimora sold public contracts and jobs for money and sex. Jurors were sworn in around 8:50 a.m. after clarifications on issues of evidence were discussed by attorneys and U.S. District Court Judge Sara Lioi. Opening statements began around 9 a.m. with Assistant U.S. Attorney Antoinette Bacon telling the jury they will be hearing a case of “bribery, fraud, obstruction and conspiracy.”

WESTLAKE, Ohio - An Avon Lake teen told police a man stole her pantyhose so he could fix his car. It happened at about 7:30 p.m. in the Union Street garage in Crocker Park on Jan. 6. According to Westlake police, the 16-year-old girl was accosted by a man who was demanding her pantyhose.
