Cicely Bolden, 28, was stabbed to death inside her Dallas apartment after reportedly revealing her HIV positive status to her lover.
Larry Dunn confessed to police that after having sex with Cicely (pictured left), she told him that she was HIV positive. Larry, 36, said he then proceeded to grab a knife from the kitchen and stab the mother of two multiple times, killing her.
Cicely’s two children, ages 7 and 8, found their mother’s body inside the family’s apartment on Thursday afternoon according to KDAF Dallas, Fort Worth, who also reported that Cicely’s neighbor and friend, LaToya Arnett, was the first to call police after hearing the children screaming.
“She killed me, so I killed her,” were the chilling words Dunn later told police.
After stabbing Cicely, Larry said he burned his clothes as well as the murder weapon in a dumpster at an Irving Waffle House.
Jeff Busby, the father of one of Cicely’s children, is currently watching over both children. He confirmed that Cicely had contracted the HIV virus within the last couple of years, according to WFAA-TV Dallas, Fort Worth.
Both Jeff—who remained friends with the mother of his child—and LaToya described Cicely as a loving mother and a sweet person.
Larry (pictured right) is in custody and being held on a $500,000 bond.
