Mike Tyson is advising that Chris Brown get control of his anger before he ends up destroying himself.

The boxer, who has seen his own share of trouble because of his temper is concerned about the “Don’t Judge Me” singer. Chris was was arrested for felony assault earlier this week, after an altercation with a fan.

During a visit to 95.5 WPLJ’s “Scott and Todd in the Morning,” Mike offered up some hard-won knowledge to Chris from his own experience with fame and anger.

“Listen, I like and admire that little guy, but what really he needs to understand is that eventually if you keep doing that stuff, people will turn on you,” Mike said. “The press will make people turn on you and make you [look] bad.”

Most of all, Mike doesn’t want to see Chris wreck his own career because of how he acts off stage. At one point, the boxer never thought that the public and businesses would ever shun him because he was the heavyweight champion of the world. Unfortunately for him, he was mistaken.

“They couldn’t even book me. Nobody even wanted to have anything to do with me. Not because I didn’t sell things out, but they just didn’t want that stigma,” Mike recalled. “It’s just that stuff that came with you.”

Although a judge stepped down the severity of the charges against Chris to misdemeanor assault, Mike is worried that if Chris loses his temper too many times, he might wind up in a much more violent environment.

“I’m just worried about him because he’s really a sweet kid, and he probably is going through some overbearing pressures,” “If he keeps getting those violent cases…they’re going to put him somewhere where that’s all they do is assault people.”

In conclusion, Mike had a few simple words of advice for the crooner. “Man, you gotta get it together. I can’t even believe I’m saying this. I’m trying to work on getting it together,” Mike advised. “Chris should know this. If you’re not humble in this world, this world will thrust humbleness upon you.”
