TUCSON, Ariz. – A hive housing an estimated 800,000 bees attacked two landscape workers Wednesday in Southern Arizona, killing one of them, fire officials said.
Lt. Joseph Alvarez, spokesman for the Douglas Fire Department, said the hive, estimated to be 10 years old, was found in the attic of a home near 20th and Washington streets.
