The Wayans Brothers Take Their Antics Onstage

It’s been quiet around the Wayans family for a minute. We’re used to the huge and growing clan to be up to something, whether it’s making a movie, a new TV show or just adding other relatives to the Wayans entertainment machine.

For their part, Shawn and Marlon Wayans are practicing their comedy chops for lucky fans in Hollywood, Florida as they invade the Improv stage for several rare stand-up dates. Fans of the brothers will be treated to something special, as they haven’t done stand-up for some time.

But don’t expect them to go on together. The two have their own comedy routines, and they do separate sets.

“I go on first, and then Shawn goes on,” Marlon Wayans told The Calgary Sun in Canada before their stand-up show there recently. “It’s not like the Smothers Brothers onstage together. We ain’t doing that.”

Here are their showtimes at the Improv:

– Friday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

– Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

– Sunday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.
