“The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd, 44, married her television writer fiancé Lamar Sally this past Saturday in downtown Chicago. Her 6-year-old son Jeffrey escorted her down the aisle. The wedding was held at the Fairmont Hotel. Her bridal party of eight bridesmaids included a few familiar faces. Niecy Nash, of “Clean House”, actress Yvette Nicole Brown, comedian/actress Kim Whitley and “View” co-host Elizabeth Hasselback were among the bridesmaids.
The couple was engaged in December. This is Shepherd’s second marriage. She was married to comedian Jeff Tarpley from 2001-2009.
In addition to co-hosting “The View”, Shepherd also makes appearances on “30 Rock”. Shepherd’s rep told PEOPLE Magazine that the affair will be shown on Style network on September 13.
