LisaRaye McCoy hit up “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show”  to talk about Stacey Dash and Vivica A. Fox.

VH1 still hasn’t confirmed whether or not Stacey will reprise the role of Val next season on “Single Ladies,” but as far as LisaRaye knows everyone is coming back.

“We all signed contracts,” LisaRaye told Rickey and his crew this morning, noting that she can only talk about her status on the show. “I don’t know what’s going on with her and the producers. That’s them; I’m going to secure my job.”

She added, “Whoever they have coming back, I know I’m still working.”

And while she was on the subject of Stacey, LisaRaye dished about what really went down the night that her co-star reportedly demanded to have her beat up.

“We were on the set, and tempers was flaring because we had been filming 15 hours a day,” LisaRaye explained. “The particular night…there was a scene that we were doing, and she didn’t want to stay on the set for my line.”

As LisaRaye recalled, Stacey kept leaving the set, despite the request of the director. That led to a few arguments, and in an attempt to smooth things over and get shooting back on track, LisaRaye said she tried to remind Stacey to stay in character.

“I just walked over and said, ‘Stacey, just do what the director tells you to do,'” LisaRaye explained. Apparently, Stacey bristled at LisaRaye’s words and put her hand in her co-star’s face. That didn’t go over well with LisaRaye. “I said if you don’t get your hand out of my [bleep] face…”

The rest is history in every sense of the word.  According to LisaRaye, although she and Stacey may butt heads at times, the two women do get along and even text each other on occasion. They may not be the best of friends, but they’re at least cool with one another.

That’s more than can be said for LisaRaye and Vivica, who used to be very close friends. How does she feel about her former BFF these days? Listen to the rest of LisaRaye’s interview below to find out!
