CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
A man was shot in a Cleveland store parking lot Wednesday afternoon. The shooting happened at the same store whose owner was murdered several years ago.
Wednesday’s shooting happened just after noon at West 89th and Madison Avenue outside of the Madison 89 Deli.
Police tell 19 Action News several people were arguing the parking lot, when one thug pulled out a gun and shot a man in the shoulder.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. No word on a condition at this time.
The suspect fled.
Johnny Yahya – the former owner of the Madison 89 Deli – was murdered several years ago during a robbery. Yahya left behind a wife and three children.
