CLEVELAND – Postal employees across the nation are rallying to save postal branches throughout the country.
On Tuesday, September 27, members of the four Postal Service employee unions (APWU, NALC, NPMHU, and NRLCA) will rally in every congressional district from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The rallies are meant to encourage Congress to address the financial crisis facing the Postal Service by passing H.R. 1351. If passed, the legislation could help save critical Postal Service funding.
Several rallies are taking place at local congress members’ offices Tuesday.
