BAY VILLAGE, OH (WOIO) –

A 22-year-old man facing charges after a drunken tirade in Bay Village.

It happened on March 19th just before midnight on Lake Road.

A resident called police to report two men were hanging out on her driveway. She told them to leave, so they ran across the street and hid behind a stone wall.

Officers found the men walking down Lake Road near Porter Creek. After speaking with them, officers determined they were intoxicated. They were both taken into custody.

Once in custody, 22-year-old Robert Friswold became combative, and kicked the rear window out of a police cruiser.  During his tantrum, Friswold ripped existing stitches out of his chin, and needed to be transported to the hospital for treatment.

Once at the hospital, the Friswold took off running. A few minutes later, Westlake police located the still combative man and took him into custody.

Warrants have been requested for Criminal Damage, Menacing and Resisting Arrest.  He is facing additional charges in Westlake.
