CLEVELAND – The Horseshoe Casino is getting a pink infusion in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Guests will notice ten Blackjack tables updated with pink felt when they enter the casino’s first level, what Horseshoe is calling a “pink zone,” according to a news release.

Casino staffers are also getting involved. Casino “team members” will wear pink ribbons and tables games dealers and supervisors will put a twist on that sporting pink ribbons made of recycled playing cards.

Each “team member” will have the option of wearing a breast cancer awareness T-shirt in place of their uniforms on “Pink Tuesdays.”

You can help raise money by heading to the casino too. A portion of proceeds from two October cocktail specials, the Pink Warrior martini and the Hooter Shooter, will be donated to charity. $1 from every cash sale at The Spread buffet during the month will also be donated.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For more information, click here: http://on.wews.com/QP2LNV
