CLEVELAND – Survivor Michelle Knight handed out yellow balloons on Seymour Avenue Wednesday morning before the home she where she was held captive for more than a decade was destroyed.
Knight arrived at the demolition scene before 7 a.m. to greet crowds watching Ariel Castro’s home get crushed.
Gina DeJesus’ mom, Nancy Ruiz, stood across the street to watch the cranes make the first hit to the house. She said Gina will not come to Seymour Avenue on Wednesday.
