*Actor, comedian, author and activist Bill Cosby will be releasing a TV concert special “Far From Finished” to Comedy Central on Nov. 24.
This will be his first special in 30 years and comes the same year Cosby turns 76.
On the reason for his return, Cosby stated, “Because… funny is funny.”
While seated in a chair, Cosby delivered the classic routine “Bill Cosby: Himself” back in 1983. The act served as a precursor for “The Cosby Show,” which aired on NBC in 1984.
His new production “Far From Finished,” directed by Robert Townsend, will embody Cosby’s stand-up material from earlier this summer.
Recently Cosby hosted a sweater tournament on his website. People were allowed to vote for their favorite Cosby sweater and were entered to win one of his books. The winner was announced today on the Today show.
And check out all 131 of his sweaters over at Buzzfeed.
Meanwhile, in other Cosby news, the legendary funnyman appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his new project. But, the Cos was so impressed with how The Roots welcomed him to the show, he thought it would be great to audition the band for his funeral.
In true comedic fashion, Cosby set up a mock funeral. And from there, the laughs role in.
