Tom Joyner News: Cleveland patrol officer found dead inside home!

CLEVELAND – A police officer was found dead Sunday inside of his home on the east side of Cleveland.

A family member discovered the body of the 56-year-old Cleveland Patrol Officer around noon in the 12400 block of Fairhill Road, according to police.

Police said the officer appears to have died from natural causes, but the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the final cause of death.

The 56-year-old officer had served over 20 years with the Cleveland Division of Police.

His name was not released.
