*If you think you had a busy Thursday, just imagine what it was like for LeBron James.
First and foremost, he was back in action with the Miami Heat against the New York Knicks. Oh yeah he was wearing this strange looking black mask to protect his broken nose. So what was up with that, LeBron?
“It went with the uniform,” he said. “I knew we were wearing our (black) throwback uniforms and I was able to get a carbon fiber one which is actually lighter than the one that I’ve been wearing in practice. And it came through at the last minute, so I went with it.”
Obviously the mask didn’t bother him one bit. He scored 31 points and hit 13-of-19 shots in a 108-82 victory over the New York Knicks.
Like we said, King James had a busy Thursday. He also made a cameo on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” which is taped in New York. No, he hasn’t figured out a way to be in two places at the same time. He was part of pre-taped music video segment in which Fallon and James rap about wastepaper basketball and showcase their skills to the rap ditty (“They’re Playin’ Basketball”).
