More than two weeks after unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown was fatally shot by Ferguson police officer, Darren Wilson, hundreds gathered along with the public to honor the teen at his funeral service yesterday.
The somber gathering was attended by Brown’s family and friends and influential public figures including Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton,T.D .Jakes, Tom Joyner and director Spike Lee.
Many other celebrities took to social media to send condolences to the family and honor Brown’s memory.
