On Friday, not many knew national TV Personality Montel Williams was right in the middle of Chardon Hilltoppers High School Football Team’s big win in Chardon, Ohio. Williams didn’t make a big deal about it.
Williams and Chardon High School go way back on social media. He first reached out to students in 2012 right after TJ Lane shot and killed 3 of their classmates.
Williams gave his support and advice. He reached out again to Chardon earlier this year when Lane broke out of prison.
However, Williams always keeps his social media doings on the down low. He told Scott Taylor he doesn’t do it for the recognition.
“I feel really bad about even having this part of the interview because this is not what I’m doing this for. I could care less
if anybody in the Country even knows I have spoken to one child. That’s now why I am doing this,” Williams said.
