Accused of more than 15 cases of abuse, actor and comedian Bill Cosby’s reputation has been all but ruined by the media’s publishing of alleged victims’ stories.
But his wife, Camille Cosby, has broken her silence in defense of her husband, casting a shadow of doubt over the credibility of the accusers.
“There appears to be no vetting of my husband’s accusers before stories are published or aired,” she said in an exclusive statement made to CBS. “An accusation is published, and immediately goes viral.”
Mrs. Cosby says her spouse of 50 years is “a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, a wonderful husband, father and friend”—not the monster sensational headlines have painted him to be.
