According to police, the mother drove her silver Porsche Cayenne to Rockcliff Market at East 55th Street and Chester Avenue and left it outside with the keys in the ignition and her child sleeping inside just after 7 p.m. Monday.

She asked an acquaintance parked next to the Porsche to watch the car while she went inside, police said. When she came outside, the car was gone.

The entire incident was captured on surveillance video obtained by newsnet5.com from the store owner. It shows a Chevy Malibu pull up and in less than 30 seconds, the passenger of that car jumps into the running Porsche and both cars peel out of the parking lot.

A short time later, the girl was dropped off to the store on 80th and Superior by one of the suspects, who then told the girl to go inside and “call your mother.”

The car was recovered on Taylor Road in East Cleveland around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. Police have not yet said if an arrest was made in the case.
