Lately, Republican politician Mike Huckabee has made a lot of noise in trying to pin Beyonce as the ultimate ruin of America’s “culture of crude.” (Feel free to roll your eyes here.) Because of that, he was invited as a guest to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to further explain why he chose Beyonce out of all celebrities to scold. But Stewart temporarily joined the Beygency and dropped some expert reading on that bigot backside!

Huckabee’s new bubba-ville how-to-guide, God, Guns, Grits And Gravy that features all this Beyonce slander. First Huckabee said:
“Beyonce is such a mega talent. She can do anything. She’s got the pipes. She’s got the movies to dance. She’s doesn’t have to be vulgar to sent a trend…do you know any parents that go, ‘Honey, if you make really good grades, someday when you 12 or 13, we’ll get you your own stripper pole. I mean, come on, Jon!” No. You come on!
Stewart then jumped in with, “I think that’s diminishing Beyonce in a way that’s truly outrageous!” And Stewart is right! Beyonce, who’s been in the game since 1997 had her career, accolades, endorsements and crowning moments reduced to that of a stripper on a pole! Puh-lease! And again, we have to ask, is Huckabee a closeted Beyonce stan? When did he even see the video for “Partition?” First he attacked “Drunk In Love,” now this? The “Partition” video wasn’t even available online without buying her entire visual album until just a few months ago!
Stewart promptly provided some examples of how from Huckabee’s side of Americana sub-culture (bubba-ville), there are individuals and art that could be considered just as baseless and executed by an adult, such as loony bin’s Ted Nugent pro-gun lyrics. Stewart schooled him with, “You agree with his stance on firearms, but don’t approve of Beyonce because she seems alien to you. You can’t single out a corrosive culture and ignore the one you live in because you’re into it.” Preach Jon!
