WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) – Early Friday morning, Warrensville Heights Police, along with various departments, arrested a suspect in connection with the triple killing that took place at a barber shop Feb. 5.
At a news conference earlier this week, police named Douglas Shine, 20, also known as “Duke” or “Little Duke,” as the suspect. Police say he has a lengthy criminal record, including robbery and assaults.
“Everybody is relieved that this individual is off the street. He was dangerous. He was violent, unpredictable. So I think the level of relief is high,” said Warrensville Heights Police Chief Wesley Haynes.
Shine is accused of shooting up Chalk Linez, injuring three and killing three.
Walter Lee Barfield, 23, William Gonzalez, 32, and Brandon White, 31, died from their injuries. Gonzalez was the owner of the barber shop.
