“Gotham” may be losing its top villainess in Fish Mooney. Jada Pinkett-Smith who plays the notorious gangster boss in the pre-Batman Fox series told “Live With Kelly and Michael” Friday she would not be returning to the show’s second season. “Gotham” producers seem to be tempering Pinkett Smith’s announcement with a little more mystery, however. In a follow up statement to “The Hollywood Reporter” producers would only say that “Fish Mooney’s storyline takes a lot of interesting twists and turns into the finale of season one of ‘Gotham.’” Pinkett Smith said on “Live With Kelly and Michael” that she only signed on for a year and the year is up. She did also offer that there are some “great things coming ahead” on the show.
