The drugs found on Nelly’s tour bus Saturday (April 11) in Tennessee do not belong to the rapper, according to his lawyer.
Speaking with TMZ.com, Nelly’s lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, said 15 to 20 people had access to the bus prior to the stop in Tennessee. In addition, he mentioned that multiple people were on the bus when police searched the vehicle.
According to reports, Nelly was arrested on his tour bus Saturday after cops pulled the vehicle over for not having proper stickers. TMZ notes that authorities said they smelled pot, which resulted in them searching the bus and allegedly finding meth, marijuana and guns.
For Rosenblum, the issue seems to revolve around the meth as he told TMZ, a small quantity of [MDMA/Ecstasy] was discovered.”
