CLEVELAND, Ohio — In just one week, a portion of the Shoreway will be closed in both directions as crews replace a bridge as part of the Cleveland Lakefront West project.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Shoreway will be closed in both directions at Lake Avenue starting Aug. 8. The mainline will also be restricted to one lane in each direction between Lake Avenue and West 73rd Street.
The closures will be in effect for approximately 25 days as crews replace the Shoreway bridge over the ramp that carries Lake Avenue onto the Shoreway eastbound.
Access to and from the Shoreway will be maintained via the Lake Avenue exit ramp, which will be converted for two-way use, according to ODOT.
