Tuesday night’s thunderstorms are still causing problems for many Cleveland residents, with thousands still without power and some with property damage from downed trees and other effects of the strong wind.
What happened in Cleveland Heights Tuesday night?
More than 2,000 customers (as of 2:50 p.m. Thursday) are without power in Cleveland Heights. Homes and businesses are being affected.
Cuyahoga County: 4,334 total without power
- Cleveland: 1,108
- Cleveland Heights: 2,334
- East Cleveland: 151
- Shaker Heights: 95
- Parma: 33
- Minor amounts in other cities.
Lake County: 56 total without power
- Willoughby: 144
- Mentor: Fewer than 5
