TWINSBURG, OH – Multiple police departments as well as SWAT teams were called out to a Twinsburg neighborhood Sunday evening for a stand off in a home there.
The first calls came in at about 6:20 p.m. Sunday when residents of East Idlewood Avenue heard gunshots. Police arrived on the scene to find one man outside with a number of wounds. He was taken to the Cleveland Clinic, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect in the shooting stayed in a house on the street for hours as police tried to contact him. Eventually tear gas was deployed in order that police could enter the home.
