CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

The deconstruction and reconstruction of the gazebo where 12-year-old Tamir Rice was shot and killed by a Cleveland police officer in Nov. of 2014 is in the hands of the family now, city officials said.

As of Sept. 8, the gazebo is still standing. City officials said that they will not have to pay for any deconstruction or reconstruction efforts, while an attorney for the Rice family, Billy Joe Mills, said that no agreement has been signed with any institution to display the gazebo.
