CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) –

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made an appearance in Cleveland Wednesday morning at the New Spirit Revival Center in Cleveland Heights.

Running mate Mike Pence, Ben Carson and Clevelander Don King were all in attendance.

King introduced Trump telling Americans “the system is broke” and all Americans need Trump, especially black people. During the introduction, King dropped the N-word.

“You understand my black brothers. They told us, if you try and emulate and imitate the white man, then you can be successful. So we tried that… I told Michael Jackson, if your’e poor, you’re a poor negro. I would use the N word. But if you’re rich, you are a rich negro. If you are intelligent, intellectual, they will call you an intellectual negro. If you’re dancing and sliding and gliding n——r – I mean , Negro — you’re a dancing and sliding and gliding Negro. So dare not alienate because you cannot assimilate. So you know, you’re going to be a Negro until you die,” said King.

He deflected a question about his use of the N-word.
