CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
A magistrate in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court has ordered Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver Josh Gordon is to be taken into custody for failing to comply with a court order.
Gordon was ordered by the court to take a DNA test and court documents show he has failed to do so.
Christina Lockhart is trying to show Gordon is the father of her daughter.
On Sept. 9, 2015, Gordon was ordered by the court to submit samples for genetic testing by Sept. 23, 2015.
The magistrate issued the warrant because so far, no genetic test results have been received by the court and the prosecution has shown the court that they have sent several formal summons to both his addresses here in Cleveland and Los Angeles.
STATEMENT FROM THE BROWNS:
We are aware of the situation. Josh and his attorney are working with the Cuyahoga County Courts to resolve this matter. We have no further comment at this time.
