For a young person their college years are probably the most memorable times of their life. The parties, new relationships and sometimes you might find your future spouse. But what happens when one night of love turns into a 18 year unplanned future and marrying a person you may not want to spend the rest of life with?
A young lady is scared and confused so she reached out to Sam Sylk, radio host of The Sam Sylk Show on 93.1 WZAK during his daily 1 pm Reality Hour segment, because she found out she’s pregnant and the father wants marriage but she doesn’t want to be and this young couple is only 19 years old. Dear Sam
Me and my boyfriend are 19 year old college students. We have only been dating a few months. I just found out I was pregnant. My boyfriend thinks we should get married. My parents say they will support me finishing school but they think I should leave the baby with them until I finish school. They also don’t think I know him well enough to get married there fore making 2 mistakes. His parents feel we should get married and figure it out. His parents say don’t bring a child into this world out of wedlock. We tell each other we love each other but do we really want to spend the rest of our lives together and how do we know we really love each other? I don’t know. I hear all sides but I feel so confused. Can you help me please? Any words of wisdom?
