Imagine spending 5 bucks and then finding out you just won $300,000!
One Ohio lottery scratch-off purchaser recently had some very good luck at a local gas station.
A BP gas station in Youngstown sold a scratch-off that won the maximum prize of $300,000. The winner will take home, after taxes, about $216,000.
The BP gas station is located on Canfield-Niles Road.
According to FOX 8, the winning ticket was a Special Edition Cashword.
No information about the winner has been made public.
Jackpot.com claims that the probability of winning cash from a scratch-off lottery ticket is about 1 in 4.10, though most prizes aren’t nearly as high as $300,000.
