Cleveland Police are investigating a carjacking that resulted in a shooting. Cleveland Police were called out to 14220 Edgewood Avenue around 12:30 am for shots fired. Officers arrived and found shattered glass and blood on the roadway. While investigating, officers received word that a male was shot at that location but relocated to 14201 Harvard Avenue.

CHARDON, OH (WOIO) - Grief counselors are on hand as Chardon High School faculty and staff returned to the building for the first time since a student gunman fatally shot three students. High school faculty and staff reported to Chardon High at 9AM, all Middle School faculty and staff gathered at Chardon United Methodist Church at 9AM and all K-5 faculty and staff reported to Munson Elementary. The shootings occurred just before the start of classes Monday morning around 7:40AM in the area of the High School's cafeteria. 17-year-old TJ Lane reportedly opened fire, shooting five students.

CHARDON, Ohio - The FBI has said four students are injured and one gunman is in custody after a shooting at Chardon High School Monday morning. Two students have been taken by helicopter to Hillcrest Hospital and two have been taken to MetroHealth Hospital.

MOGADORE, Ohio - Newell Rubbermaid will be adding nearly 140 full-time jobs and investing more than $25 million in its Rubbermaid manufacturing facility on Gilchrist Road in Mogadore. The investment includes buying new machines, as well as improving infrastructure. “I am excited at the opportunity this expansion represents for the Village of Mogadore and Summit County, in particular the number of new jobs this project will bring to our area,” stated Russ Pry, Summit County Executive.

*A coalition of Black activists has launched a national campaign they call “Occupy ‘Red Tails’” to spur Americans to go see the monumental George Lucas production of “Red Tails” which based on the story of the Tuskegee Airmen. Judge Kevin Ross, Michael Ajakwe, Najee Ali and several others are petitioning Americans across the country to recognize those who fought to maintain American freedoms and privileges. For over 23 years, Lucas has been trying to tell the story of the courageous Black pilots who transformed the makeup of the military, but Hollywood wasn’t having it. So the big time filmmaker decided to tell the story, using $90 million of his own money to make and market the film.
