CHARDON, OH (WOIO) - Three families in Chardon faced with the heart-breaking ordeal of making funeral arrangements after a student gunman opens fire inside a Northeast Ohio high school. The family of 16-year-old Danny Parmertor have finalized plans to say goodbye to their loved one.

NORTH ROYALTON, OHIO (WOIO) - North Royalton High School was under lockdown for about 30 minutes Wednesday morning after a student reported a classmate threatened her and made reference to guns. The student went to her counselor with what the 9th grade boy had threatened. The counselor alerted the school resource officer, who contacted police. Officers then searched the area and found no weapon.

Two Cleveland high schools, Glenville and Central Catholic, went through various scares earlier in the day in the wake of the Chardon High School shootings. Glenville went through a lock down, while Central Catholic had a bomb scare.

CHARDON, OH (WOIO) - Grief counselors are on hand as Chardon High School faculty and staff returned to the building for the first time since a student gunman fatally shot three students. High school faculty and staff reported to Chardon High at 9AM, all Middle School faculty and staff gathered at Chardon United Methodist Church at 9AM and all K-5 faculty and staff reported to Munson Elementary. The shootings occurred just before the start of classes Monday morning around 7:40AM in the area of the High School's cafeteria. 17-year-old TJ Lane reportedly opened fire, shooting five students.
