CLEVELAND – Candidates from both parties are out in Cleveland and other cities across Northeast Ohio stumping for last-minute votes before Election Day on Tuesday.

Ohio Governor Ted Stickland will be in in the area today starting his day in Cleveland, at the RTA stop on Huron Road at 7:30 a.m., as he’ll be meeting and greeting voters on their way to work.

Strickland is also stopping at the Parma Democratic headquarters to thank workers there at 11:15 a.m. Strickland will then head to Lorain to campaign with Congresswoman Betty Sutton and state Senator Sue Morano at 12:30 p.m. He’ll then finish his campaign swing through the area in Akron at 2:30.

The GOP ticket candidates are not slowing down, either. U.S. Senate candidate Rob Portman will be in Euclid today at Stamco Industries before he heads Cincinnati to campaign with Republican candidate for governor, John Kasich, and Congressman John Boehner. Those three politicians will be joined by country music star Hank Williams, Jr. at a series of events around southwest Ohio.
