Well, this seems like a random pairing doesn’t it? It’s not everyday that you see probably the world’s biggest living pop star collaborating with an Academy Award winning octogenarian who is best known for his tough guy roles. But, looks like the world will get to see what comes from the pairing of Beyonce and Clint Eastwood.
Beyonce is set to play the lead in the remake of “A Star is Born.” The 1937 film starring Janet Gaynor has been remade a couple times already–Judy Garland (1954), Barbara Streisand (1976). Eastwood will direct the film, which follows the story of a doe-eyed aspiring actress and the Hollywood veteran who takes her under his wing and makes her into a star.
