In the August issue of Redbook, Jada Pinkett Smith talks about the sacrifices she’s made for her family. She and her band had the opportunity to open for Guns ‘N Roses, but she ultimately decided to be there for her son Jaden as he auditioned for “Pursuit of Happyness.”
She goes on to say that she would rather her children grow up in Hollywood, because it has nothing on the way she grew up in Baltimore, surrounded by drugs and fearing being shot.
