After releasing #1 single, “Motivation”, and hit album Here I Am, Kelly Rowland is doing more big things in the entertainment business. A major cable network has offered her a deal to star in her own sitcom. The deal was established just a few days ago and the deal should be signed within a couple weeks. The network and sitcom has yet to be named, but filming will begin in January 2012.
Though mostly known for her music, Ms. Kelly has made several appearances, both in movies and on television. She made her debut in 2002, with guests stints in sitcoms such as The Hugleys and Tania. She’s appeared in big-screen movies such as Freddy vs Jason and The Seat Filler. Recently, she joined the judging panel on the eighth series of the British reality television competition The X Factor.
