CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
Cops are investigating a serious accident at the intersection of St. Clair & Glenside.
When cops arrived they found a heavily damaged red Ford Mustang Convertible.
Police say the Mustang was speeding east bound on St. Clair Avenue when the driver lost control at and struck a utility pole.
The force of the impact ripped the vehicle in half.
Cops say a 58-year old man was driving with a 53-year old woman in the front seat.
Both occupants were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where they are being treated for their injuries.
