Two men are facing charges in a crime that has family members shocked. They’re accused of putting their dead friend into a car and then heading out for a night of bar hopping using his ATM card.

The police record accuses the pair of a real-life version of the film “Weekend at Bernie’s” — leaving Jarrett’s body in the car while they drank at a bar on his tab last month.

Jeffrey Jarrett died last month and the cause of his death is still being investigated. Jarrett’s family is upset by what happened. Two of his friends, Robert Young and Mark Rubinson, allegedly loaded his body into a car, hit a bar in Denver then another one in Aurora, before finally taking 43 year old Jarrett home.

25 year old Rubinson and 43 year old Young, then ended their night at Shotgun Willie’s in Glendale, but without Jarrett. They then allegedly took $400 out of their dead friend’s account.
