LODI, Ohio – Lodi Police are searching for a man they say robbed the First Merit Bank on Wooster Street Thursday, September 22.

Just after 4 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the bank for a reported robbery. Witnesses told police a white male entered the bank, approached the teller window, implied a weapon and demanded money. A weapon was never produced during the robbery.

After getting the money, the suspect fled the bank in a light blue, older model Saturn driven by an another person. According to witnesses, a dye pack activated inside the vehicle as it traveled north on Church Street.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male, 5’3”, 120 pounds, wearing a cream colored long sleeved shirt, and a dark colored ball cap. Police say both the vehicle and the subjects should have red dye on them.
