CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

The Cleveland Municipal School District’s Deputy Chief of Strategy and Implementation, Reneé Cavor who had been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation, has resigned.

CEO Eric Gordon confirmed the resignation on Tuesday.

“I have a great deal of respect and gratitude for the contributions of Ms. Cavor to the Cleveland Metropolitan School District,” said Gordon, who accepted the resignation.

The district received allegations against Cavor, and as with standard procedure placed her and the Senior Linkage Coordinator, Timothy Roberts who is also named, on paid administrative leave pending the investigation.

Roberts remains on leave.

Officials have told 19 Action News that it doesn’t involve any students or their families.

19 Action News did reach out to Cavor by phone and at her house. So far, no response.
