20 second graders and their bus driver injured in a school bus accident.

It happened just before 1PM Monday on U.S. 30 near Trump Avenue SE.

The bus hit a mobile trailer holding a directional arrow sign.

There were more than 30 students on board the bus for Minerva School District.

School officials say Minerva Elementary School 2nd graders were returning from a field trip to the McKinley Field Museum when the accident happened.

19 students were transported to Mercy and Aultman Hospitals with minor injuries. One student and the bus driver were treated on the scene.

Fire officials say the students mainly complained of shoulder and neck pain. Some also had glass in their eyes.

The accident remains under investigation.

U.S. 30 was re-opened around 3pm.
