Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson starring in Winnie, a biopic that chronicles the life of Winnie Mandela, and now the theatrical trailer has been released. Directed by Darrell Roodt, the film, shown at several movie festivals around the world, charts Winne’s life from her childhood through her husband Nelson Mandela’s incarceration and her own year in solitary confinement. Terrence Howard will be starring opposite Jen as Nelson Mandela, and I’m sure there will be Oscar-buzz once again for both of them next year.
