ATLANTA – A Georgia man claims he stumbled upon one of the most coveted secrets: the original formula for Coca-Cola.
Cliff Kluge is trying to sell that secret recipe on eBay for $5 million.
Kluge claims he found the recipe at an estate auction, but Coca-Cola officials said no matter what Kluge thinks, he doesn’t have “the real thing.”
“At least once a year, somebody shows up and says I have the original formula for Coca-Cola, how much do you want to pay me for it? Well, you don’t need to pay them anything for it because we have the only real one,” said a spokesperson.
Coca-Cola said the only copy is in a vault at its world headquarters in downtown Atlanta.
