Miguel was a fan favorite until recently.
The singer, whose heritage is Mexican American & African American, went off and publicly accused Black people of being judgmental.
You know the ‘community’ wouldn’t let that fly without a snappy come back. After crotch dropping an innocent audience member during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards, he was totally the butt of jokes.
Then he recently made a damaging statement about Black people.

“I’m proud of my heritage,” he wrote. “But honestly Black people are the most judgmental people in the world.”
Yeah, that’s a really broad, sweeping statement about the largest racial group in the world.
His statement was apparently brought on by a discussion about religion.
Regardless of the reasons he made the statement, the world of Black people quickly answered back, some critics claiming that he’s dealing with self-hatred.
