BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) – A University of Alabama art student has filed a federal court suit alleging nude photos of her ended up on the Internet after she had work done on her computer at Best Buy.

Attorneys for Nicole March said she filed the invasion of privacy suit Friday in federal court in Birmingham. It names Best Buy Corp. and Geek Squad Technical Support as defendants. Best Buy spokeswoman Paula Baldwin said the company does not comment on pending litigation.

The suit says March was working at Best Buy in Tuscaloosa and took her computer there in 2011 to have data retrieved from the hard drive. It says the photos were for her professional reference, but a Geek Squad member recently told her the photos were in circulation.
